The M3C project established a formal agreement with the Funchal Natural History Museum, envisaging the incorporation of the project’s biodiversity samples in the Museum’s permanent collections. This agreement is a guarantee that the outcomes of the M3C project will be permanently available to science and to the general public, thus representing a significant societal contribution.
The M3C project and the Forests and Nature Conservation Institute (IFCN/IP-RAM, the public agency responsible for the management of Marine Protected Areas in Madeira), signed a collaboration protocol aimed at insuring the continued use of the project’s outputs in the managements and conservation of marine habitats in the archipelago.
